“When women rise, communities thrive. My mission is to amplify our voices and create a political landscape where every woman’s potential can flourish.” As the Women’s Organizer for the People’s National Convention (PNC), I am dedicated to championing the involvement of women in politics and ensuring that our issues are not only heard but acted upon. My role is to mobilize and unite women supporters across Ghana, encouraging each of us to step confidently into our political power. My work goes beyond campaigns—it’s about building a network of empowered women who are ready to shape our future. From training campaign teams to promoting policies that advance gender equality, I am committed to making the PNC a true advocate for women’s empowerment. I believe that when women come together, we create a stronger, more compassionate society that benefits everyone. I am honored to be a voice for women in the PNC and to stand alongside each of you as we work to create a Ghana that uplifts every woman, every family, and every community. Let’s rise together and make a difference.
“Our youth are the driving force of Ghana’s future. Together, we have the power to create a country that truly reflects our dreams and ambitions.” As the Youth Organizer for the People’s National Convention (PNC), I am honored to be at the forefront of mobilizing and empowering Ghana’s youth. My role centers on creating spaces where young voices can be heard, their talents nurtured, and their energy harnessed for meaningful change. I also serve as the Convener of Elections Watch Ghana, which gives me additional insights into the electoral landscape and the vital role young people play in shaping it. My commitment is to inspire our youth to be active participants in the political process, not just spectators. I believe in building campaign teams that understand the importance of unity, strategy, and grassroots engagement. Through targeted training and initiatives, I aim to connect with Ghana’s younger generation, addressing their unique concerns and aspirations and championing causes that will build a prosperous future for us all. The PNC is a party that values the strength and potential of the youth, and I am here to ensure that we continue to grow, evolve, and push for a Ghana that stands up for its young people. Let’s work together to make our voices heard and our impact felt.
I am Issahaque Awudulai , currently serving as the General Secretary of the PNC following the outcome of the August 2024 National Congress. In my earlier political career I got the opportunity to serve as a Deputy Constituency Secretary as well as the Regional Secretary of the party in the Upper West Region. In 2015, I was elected the National Youth Organiser of the party and unanimously acclaimed the National Communications Secretary of the party in 2020. Born into a very humble but caring family in Wa, I value and cherish the Grace of Allah in my journey in life for bringing me this far. My father of blessed memory was but an ordinary public servant who had to sacrifice his personal comfort to give me and my siblings the needed education in life with the support of a mum who took all kinds of menial jobs in her quest to support family needs. No wonder I had a tough time convincing my father most especially when I decided to pursue a career in politics because all he cherished was academic pursuits. My family background and upbringing has imbibed in me the rare values of togetherness, generosity, tenacity and resilience. This has been largely responsible for my steady rise in politics and in the PNC in particular. I remain an unrepentant Nkrumaist who believes in the unfinished business and vision of the late Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah and his proteges. As the General Secretary of the PNC, I shall continue to direct and focus my energy on promoting the ideals of the party in a bid to redefine politics in Ghana to centre on serving the welfare needs of the People by building an Egalitarian Society.
“For me, every step, every effort, and every challenge has been worth it because it brings us closer to a Ghana where our communities are heard, empowered, and uplifted.” I was born in Kusanaba, a village in the Upper East Region, where my journey began under humble circumstances. Moving to Accra as a young man, I faced life’s hard realities, taking up jobs as a house help, security guard, and laborer to support my family. Those early experiences shaped my perspective on service and dedication, guiding me to the leadership roles I hold today. Today, I am proud to serve as the Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC), where I am committed to advancing the party’s vision of a unified and prosperous Ghana. As the Chairman, my focus is on strategic planning, policy implementation, and building a resilient party that stands as a voice for every Ghanaian. I also have the honor of serving as the Executive Secretary of the Importers and Exporters Association of Ghana, a platform that allows me to address the needs of Ghana’s business community. Throughout my career, I have always believed in breaking barriers, overcoming challenges, and creating opportunities where none seem to exist. From running for parliamentary office to representing the PNC’s values on national issues, my journey is a testament to resilience and purpose. Standing with the PNC, I envision a Ghana where progress, fairness, and opportunity are accessible to all. Let’s move forward, together, toward a brighter future.
