Bernard Mornah is the current leader and flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC). He has a Master’s degree in International Development and Economics from the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (University of Applied Science) in Berlin, Germany, and a BA in Economics and Sociology from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Additionally, he is pursuing an LLB degree at Mountcrest University College, Ghana.
Professionally, Mornah has a wealth of experience in both public and private sectors. He is the Managing Partner of Ndaana Ghana Ltd, Chief Executive Officer of Gateway Savanah Ltd, Vice President of the Saharan Economic and Financial Consortium, and Chairman of YIRIYELA Ent. Furthermore, Mornah serves as the Secretary of the ECOWAS Interim Steering Committee of the Forum of West African Political Parties (FOWAPP).
His extensive career includes roles at the Regional Coordinating Council, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Beacon Insurance Company, Law Trust, Institute for Policy Alternatives (Ghana), and FES/Youth Agenda in Kenya. He also held leadership positions such as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the AfHF LOC Africa Hockey Nations and Secretary of the Kwame Nkrumah Centenary Planning Committee.
A committed researcher and Programme Development Officer, Mornah has worked on local development and public policy issues, especially in collaboration with rural organizations. His contributions to youth political engagement, campaign team training, and long-term program development for political parties are significant milestones in his career.
Mornah founded the Tertiary Institutions Functionaries of the PNC and previously held positions such as National Youth Organizer and General Secretary of the PNC. His role as party leader is crucial in defining the PNC’s strategy and political direction.
