Vice President Aspirant

Hi, I am Hon. Joycelyn Akorfa Dotse-Ametsi

Vice President Aspirant

“For me, leadership is about service. It’s about bringing every community along and making sure no one is left behind.”

My journey has been one of commitment to community, service, and a deep-rooted passion for uplifting the underprivileged. From a young age, I felt a calling to speak for those whose voices often go unheard, and this has defined my career and personal mission.

With a background in business and public service, I have had the honor of leading and supporting organizations that directly impact lives, particularly in Ghana’s Volta Region. As the founder of the Community Development Concern (CDC) and the Cured Lepers Foundation, I have been blessed to work alongside community leaders and international partners to create a resettlement village with housing, healthcare, and education facilities for cured lepers and vulnerable families. Witnessing these communities thrive has been one of my greatest joys and reinforces my belief that real change begins at the grassroots.

Beyond my community work, I’ve had the privilege of representing Ghana on various international platforms, collaborating with leaders across Africa to champion women’s participation in governance. I believe our progress as a nation relies on empowering women and embracing diverse voices in decision-making spaces.

Now, as I stand alongside Bernard Mornah in this journey with the PNC, I bring my experiences and vision to the forefront. Together, we aspire to build a Ghana where every citizen is given the chance to flourish. I am committed to a leadership style that listens, collaborates, and, most importantly, acts on behalf of the people.
